Daniel Marshall Limited Edition Scarface Humidor

This year is going to be 30 years that the film Scarface, starring Al Pacino, was released and to celebrate the film’s 30th Anniversary, De La Concha Tobacconist will host a Daniel Marshall Humidor Event. Daniel Marshall was granted, by Universal Studios, the right to create a Limited Edition Scarface Humidor (only 1000 produced ). This event will take place on Monday, September 19, 2011 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at De La Concha Tobacconist located at 1390 Avenue of the Americas (Between 56th & 57th Streets), New York, New York 10019.

De La Concha Tobacconist will raffle off one of these unique and Limited Editon Scarface Humidors at the event. Purchases of Daniel Marshall humidors and cigars, on that day, will entitle you to a raffle tickets and the grand prize will be a Limited Edition Scarface Humidor. Mark your calendars for the Fifth Annual Delaware Cigar Festival, which will take place on Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Tickets are on sale as of June 1, 2011. Last year the festival featured over 20 major cigar manufacturers and this year will be even bigger. Attendance is limited to 300 and tickets will be sold on a first-come first-served basis. Tickets for this spectacular cigar event will be available at many of our retail locations and may also be purchased by phone at (302) 836-4889 beginning June 1. Phone order tickets will be reserved for you at the gate.

Admission is $125 per person and includes a terrific assortment of top notch cigars on your arrival at the gate, a great buffet meal, drinks, and the opportunity to load up on cigars at unbelievable prices when you make a small per cigar donation to our chosen charity. You’ll also enjoy the scenery as our hostesses keep the afternoon upbeat and cheery.

There will be door prizes and raffle items in abundance. This event will take place at Delaware Park Racetrack and Casino, located 777 Delaware Park Blvd, Wilmington, DE, which is a wonderful venue where you can watch the horse races, play the slots, and challenge yourself at the table games. The event is held in 2 outdoor pavilions in the picnic grove, one for our vendors and celebrities, and a non-smoking pavilion where food is served. There are plenty of picnic tables and restrooms are immediately adjacent to the vendor pavilion.

Parking is free, easy and located comfortably close to the event area.

The Travers may have brought crowds to Saratoga Springs on August 27, 2011, but it was the Rodrigo Cigar Event that had them running to the quaint little town on August 20, 2011! James and Sons Tobacconist hosted Rodrigo Cigars from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and the event was a huge success. Rodrigo Cigars owner, George Rodriguez, himself, along with his wife and Bret, the local Rodrigo Cigar Rep were all on hand to answer questions and help the patrons find their perfect smoke. The Rodrigo Cigars were displayed beautifully in the walk-in humidor, surrounded by balloons in corresponding colors – way to go Andrea! George introduced his new “Boutique Blend” featuring the “G6″ – a 6×60 flavor bomb made entirely of Grade A tobaccos. RODRIGO “Handmade Ultra Premium” Cigars are manufactured in Tamboril, Dominican Republic and blended by cigar veteran William Ventura. In addition to great smokes, there were special event deals on hard to find Rodrigo Cigars ! George spent the evening talking with patrons and sharing many personal stories – a good time was had by all. Cigars were flying off the shelves and smiling faces were enjoying Rodrigo Cigars! A Cigar Dinner in Schaumburg is Unheard of…That is, Until Now!
Morton’s The Steakhouse is delighted to announce Schaumburg’s first ever Cigar Dinner taking place on Friday, September 16th, 2011 under the stars at Morton’s The Steakhouse in Schaumburg.

Guests will start their evening at 6:30 p.m. with passed hors d’oeuvres including Smoked Salmon Pizza and Petite Lamb Chops. They’ll also enjoy wine and spirits provided by Wirtz and Diageo, and a special tour with their very own Master of Whisky, Steve Cole. All evening they’ll enjoy a classic selection of cigars such as Davidoff Double R, Paul Garmirian Symphony Toro and Aurora 1495 Belicoso Cigars, all from Habana Cigar House. An authentic Cuban cigar roller will also be on site to show everyone how it’s done.

Then at 7:00 p.m. guests will take their seats under the big top for a four course meal which includes Morton’s legendary Colossal Shrimp Cocktail as an appetizer, a second course of Iceberg Wedge salads, and a 12oz. New York Strip served with Grilled Asparagus and a Twice Baked Potato as the main course. Morton’s Famous Carrot Cake will be served for dessert and all spirits and wine are included in the $175 price per person.
