Support THE MERMAID’S Fundraiser Walk 4 Hearing

You might already know that sometimes I cheat on cigars with teaching, specifically children in the Deaf community. I’m not sure if Dad or I had mentioned it to you but this summer I started a Camp for Children with hearing loss in NYC called CampedUP. It was huge success and we are already planning an extension for next summer!
The first thing we are working on is a Team for the NYC Walk4Hearing. 60% of the money we raise will go to the Hearing Association of America and 40% will go directly to us at CampedUP towards a scholarship fund for Deaf or Hard of Hearing children who cannot afford a summer program.
The Walk is Sunday September 29th, in Riverside Park and if you are around I would love for you to come walk with us (who doesn’t love group exercise!)
