Live, Laugh, Smoke Cigars!

Please join Tuesday’s Children as they host their third Annual Cigar Night! This wonderful cigar event will take place on Thursday, July 14, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at the Carlton at Eisenhower Park located in East Meadow, New York. In addition to raising awareness and funds for Tuesday’s Children, this event will enable this wonderful organization to continue to serve the families who lost a loved one on September 11th, as well as first responders. This year, Tuesday’s Children will be honoring FDNY Lt. Glenn E. Wilkinson of Brooklyn Fire Engine 238, who was killed on that tragic day. The cost is $150.00 per person and will include a buffet dinner, open bar, live music and cigars for each guest. There will be a Chinese Auction with great prizes and a silent auction, as well. There will be a brief program where the organization will speak to the future of Tuesday’s Children, the work they will continue to do beyond the 10th Anniversary and reaffirm their commitment to these families. Glenn’s family will be present and will speak to his bravery on that day. Many of the guests that evening will be first responders. This is expected to be a terrific event for a great cause, so please try to attend. If you are not able to attend or would like to make a donation, please feel free to do so.
