Event Review: Club Macanudo Super Bowl Sunday
February 12, 2012
How he continues to do it, we will never know. Mauricio Cordoba, Mr. Club Macanudo himself, did it again. On Sunday, February 5, 2012, aka Super Bowl Sunday, New York City’s Exclusive Cigar Club, was transformed into an arena for your rooting pleasure. The tables and chairs were set up in a semi-circle giving each fan a non-obstructed, full-view of the big game. As each guest entered, they received a sampling of premium cigars and a raffle ticket to win one of many gift bags filled with a plethora of cigar goodies! There was a buffet of endless, game-day food including chili, hotdogs, sliders, wings and sandwiches – each equally as delicious as the other. Just in case that all wasn’t enough, Mauricio offered an open bar for all to enjoy. The atmosphere was electric – all were laughing and enjoying each other’s company. Whether individuals knew each other prior to that evening or met new friends while there watching the game, all were happy to be together. Mr. Cordoba, a true Giant fan, was decked out in his team’s shirt and passed around champagne making a toast to all immediately following the Giants’ victory. What a great time we all had at Club Macanudo‘s Super Bowl Party. Thank you Mauricio for always giving it your all. Just like the New York Giants, Mauricio Cordoba is a true champion! Club Macanudo is located at 26 East 63rd Street in New York City. For reservations call (212)752-8200. Leave comment…
